1. Introduction These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for services provided by Coastal Handyman ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services, the client ("you") agrees to be bound by these terms. 2. Services Provided We offer a range of handyman services, including but not limited to general repairs, maintenance, and installations. A full list of services is available upon request. 3. Quotations All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Quotations are based on the information provided by you; any changes to the scope of work may result in additional costs. 4. Pricing and Payments Payments for services will be agreed upon in advance and confirmed in writing before work begins. Invoices are due upon completion of the agreed work unless an alternative payment schedule is specified in advance. Invoices not settled within 14 days may incur a late payment fee of 5% of the outstanding amount. 5. Booking and Cancellation A booking is confirmed once a date is agreed, and a deposit (if applicable) is received. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee of 25% of the quoted price. 6. Access and Safety You must provide safe and adequate access to the worksite. We reserve the right to halt work if conditions are unsafe. 7. Materials and Warranty Any materials supplied by Coastal Handyman are of good quality and are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We are not responsible for faults in materials provided by you. 8. Liability Coastal Handyman will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the services provided. We are insured for public liability, but any pre-existing damage must be disclosed prior to work commencing. 9. Complaints and Disputes If you are dissatisfied with our work, please notify us within 7 days of completion. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any issues to your satisfaction. 10. Termination of Services We reserve the right to terminate services if terms are breached, payment is not received, or conditions are unsafe. 11. Force Majeure We are not liable for delays or failure to complete work due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances. 12. Privacy Policy Any personal information provided will be handled in compliance with data protection laws and will not be shared without your consent. 13. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
